We have received numerous phone calls regarding a supposed threat concerning Jackson County Schools. This does not involve Newport School District and we have had no such communications at all. Our student and faculty safety is always our first priority and we would inform you immediately should anything occur. Again, Newport Schools is not under any threat situation. School is running in a normal manner.
