Our NHS Cheerleaders will be painting paws on Wilkerson Drive tomorrow to get ready for a great season! 🐾🎨

🕖 Painting Times:

• 7:00 AM - 9:00 AM
• 4:00 PM - 6:00 PM

⚠️ Traffic Alert:

One side of Wilkerson Drive will be blocked at a time to keep traffic flowing safely.

Campus gates may be closed to allow the paint to dry.

The regular scheduled June board meeting set for June 17th has been changed to June 24th at 6pm

Attention NSD Parents, Newport School District will not be running buses next Friday, May 23rd.

Basketball tryouts will be tomorrow, May 14th @ 3:30pm in the Greyhound FH for 7th-9th grade girls🏀🏀🏀🏀

Dear Parents, If your student will be entering 7th or 8th grade for the 2025–2026 school year, please join us for the CAP Conference tomorrow from 4:00 to 6:00 PM in the High School Cafeteria. This is an important opportunity to discuss your student’s schedule for the upcoming school year.

The school calendar had time built in to cover missed days due to inclement weather through the year. However, this year we were forced to miss more time than was built in. The district is on a minutes calendar and must meet the time required by the state for in seat learning time. Due to our missed times , the district's last day for students will now be May 23rd . School will be dismissed at 12pm (noon) on that day. If we are forced to miss any further time in our normal calendar, this will have to be adjusted to account for that amount of missed time.
