Ms. Briana Graham from UALR joined Coach Golden's JAG classes today, along with a few juniors and seniors from Coach Edwards's EAST program. Ms. Graham discussed several scholarship options with students who may be interested in attending UALR next fall. She broke down several types of financial aid along with the price of tuition, room and board, books, and other college fees.
Students learned a lot about what Little Rock and UALR have to offer. If any seniors are interested, they may apply online at https://slate.ualr.edu/apply/. Typically, the application fee is $40.00, but if you are a Newport High School senior, please get in contact with either Mrs. Laura Freeman (laura.freeman@newportschools.org) or Coach Golden (chelsea.golden@newportschools.org), for access to a waiver code.
