What do you love about teaching at Newport?
I love teaching at Newport because I know most of the people in the community since I have lived here all of my life. There's something special about living in a small community. There have been many changes to our little town over the years, but one thing remains. Everyone is so supportive of our school. We can always count on people to help whenever a need arises.
What do you enjoy most about your job?
What I enjoy most about my job is that every day is different. The people I work with are like family. Working with several of my classmates is really special. I have loved teaching my classmates' children and now their grandchildren.
What was your favorite memory from High School?
A favorite memory of mine from high school is just hanging out with my high school sweetheart and friends at lunchtime.
