If you are wanting to try out for the Senior high cheer team please sign up in the High school office. DEADLINE to sign up will be Tuesday March 7 th .
There will be a mandatory parent meeting held on Wednesday, March 8th at 5:30 in the field house. Tryout material will be sent out on March 17th to those that have signed up for tryouts, and you will have until tryouts to learn and work on the material. You will be expected to be very familiar with the material on the first day of tryouts.
Tryouts will be held in the Fieldhouse on the following days:
Wednesday, March 29th 5:30-7:00
Sunday, April 2nd 2:00-4:00
Wednesday, April 5th 3:30-?
We must have a physical on file for you to be allowed to attend tryouts. If you received a physical last year to participate in Newport athletics, your physical will still be good. If you are new to Newport athletics, we will need a physical on file for you before you will be allowed to participate in tryouts.
