Adult Education

Welcome to the Newport School District’s Adult Education webpage. This program offers classes in a variety of areas. These classes are offered for free, or at a reduced rate, to members of the Newport and Jackson County communities in an effort to increase the opportunities for learning.

Each class features a signup link to a small enrollment form. Some classes will be limited in size, so all classes are first come first served. Any charges are due on the evening of the class. Classes will be offered on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday nights from 6:00 to 7:30 or 6:00-9:00. The Adult Education classes are taught in the Newport High School Freshman Academy located next to the Newport School District Administration Offices on the high school campus. Parking is available in the lot immediately in front of the cafeteria.
